The oath taking ceremony of the newly elected committee of South Barpeta Press Club was held at the office of Alopati Majrachar Bazar Committee on Sunday afternoon.

Press Club Advisor and Teacher Akkas Ali Ahmed read out the oath at the function.

The newly elected committee of the Press Club officially took over.

The oath taking ceremony was attended by Mr. Sirajul Haque, President, Alopati Majrachar Gaon Panchayat, Mr. Anser Ali Ahmed, President, Alopati Majrachar Bazar Committee and Gaher Ali Mandal, a teacher and a prominent poet and writer of Barpeta district.

The guests of the swearing-in ceremony made various suggestions and delivered appropriate speeches.

The newly elected committee will perform its duties honestly and take appropriate steps for the development of the club.

Finally, the newly elected committee president Tajibur Rahman and secretary Imnuul Hasan sought the sincere cooperation of all for the development of the press club.
