Here a car was passing through the road, when a leopard from a nearby house jumped on top of the car. The life of the person sitting in the car got stuck. People sitting in another car coming from the front made this video. The leopard roaming in the area injured at least 13 people, including three forest officials. The leopard was caught unconscious by the forest department on Tuesday. This leopard was seen around the Rain Forest Research Institute located in Chenijn. According to forest officials, the leopard came out of the forest and started attacking people without provocation. Iqbal Ahmed, forest ranger of Jorhat Forest Range, said that he received information about the leopard attacking people and creating ruckus in the institute campus on Monday morning. A team of Forest Department immediately reached there to capture the leopard. Although, He attacked and injured two forest officials. After this we called more forest department officials, but another person was injured in another leopard attack. After this the forest department started a surveillance drive and the leopard was sighted till Monday night. Leopard has been shifted to Kaziranga National Park.
